Crushing the Depth
Frustration tolerance. Determination.
General Notes
Been struggling a lot of late. Today was the first good day in a long time.
It's currently 9pm. I reached my calorie cap at dinner around 6pm, and haven't had trouble mentally having "finished" at that time.
I'm about 3,500 steps (a 35 minute walk) from my step count. After this write-up, I'm immediately going out for a 30 minute walk to knock that out. No problem.
That's the key mindset I want to hold onto this week. When I've hit my calorie count, that's it.
When I have steps to go late in the day, I'm going out with a podcast or music or something, and that's it.
I've begun ballooning up again. Currently almost 255 lbs. Stopping that shit right now and firing in the other direction.

Daily Article Notes
Relevant notes from my daily set of Noom articles.
- Pictures can help motivation. I'll try to turn this blog into mostly a hub for pictures as I go much more. Food, walks, etc.
- The other main article today is about frustration tolerance. I have to develop comfort with discomfort, with feeling tired and upset while still being willing to push on.
- One suggestion: an "oh, well" statement. A way to acknowledge how you feel in a moment, accept it and persevere. Examples that jump out to me:
- "I'm sort of hungry, but hit my calorie count. Oh well. I'll eat more tomorrow. Tonight pushes me towards my goals."
- "It's really cold and I don't feel like going out to finish my step count. Oh well. Let's go, going to enjoy this podcast and bundle up."
