Whale Rider [245.4 lbs]

Strong days. Cooking. A great dessert.

Continuing to have a strong series of days! Yesterday was my closest danger zone. I didn't walk during the day, so needed to get in all my steps late in the day at 10pm. Made it to my cap, but it was close. It was helpful that I'd kept up on the supplementary habits as the day went on - things like taking meds, cleaning up, and staying under my calorie cap.

My breakfasts have continued to be awesome. Sometimes it's just a slice of whole grain toast with light butter, but eggs are also fun.

Scrambled eggs with buffalo sauce on lightly buttered wheat toast.

One egg omelet with slice of American cheese.

I found an especially delightful walking treat! There's a Dairy Queen in walking distance from me, and for a hot summer day, a small strawberry sundae is ridiculously refreshing.

My favorite lunch/dinner to cook at home these days is super easy. Chicken thighs and a bag of frozen vegetables into a slow cooker for 4 hours on low. Cut up the chicken, mix it with brown rice, and that's 4 meals ready to go for the week. Mix with different sauces each day.

Bonus cat.
