Fire, Swim With Me [252.2 lbs]
Habit tracking.
Been struggling again. I've been thinking about some of the ADHD tweets my friend Bennet has shared, and one of them really rang true for me. It was someone who said that habits rarely stuck for them the way they do for people without ADHD. Meds help (and there's a major confluence between when I forget to take meds and when my habits slip), but even then it always takes effort to do each thing.
So I'm going to try again with a Habit-tracker checklist app. It's not sufficient on its own, and it's basically an ADHD meme to say "just use checklists!" But if I am kind and forgiving to myself, I think it can supplement meds and other strategies to make things easier.
This will take constant work. It may not get easier. The sooner I accept that, the sooner I'll be able to make my body the one I want.
I'll be using Habitica. Let me know if you want to join in!
