Narrowing focus. How to stay within the calorie budget.

General Notes

I've had a terrible couple of days, and tracking weight hurts me. It feels like punishment without incentive these days, so I'm going to take a break from it. I appreciate what Noom offers and most of its advice helps me. This is one of those cases where I'm going to change it up based on how it impacts me personally at this stage. May return to it soon.

For now, focus just on the food and exercise.

Sketching today's meals

  • B: Skip (overate).
  • L: Rice, gyro meat, tzatziki, vegetables.
  • D: Chili, cheddar.

  • Article today is about tips to stick within the caloric budget.
  • #1: Eat low density calorie foods. These fill me up without blowing the budget.
  • #2: Fiber helps. Vegetables, including starchy vegetables like plantains, corn, sweet potato, and beans. Whole grains. Fruit.
  • #3: Opt for protein. Egg or oatmeal-based breakfast, whole grain sandwiches, tuna with whole grain crackers, etc.
